And as long as we're on the topic of hair metal chicks... isn't this the greatest photo of Lita Ford ever?? I bought the 45 of this song back in the day strictly for the picture sleeve... the song sucked so I threw the record away and hung the sleeve on my wall.

I remember my dad taking me to the auto show back when The Dukes of Hazzard was at the height of their popularity. Catherine Bach and John Schnieder (Bo Duke, for those not in the know) were there signing autographs. We have pics of her at the appearance in jeans and a big, baggy gray sweatshirt. What a gip!! Nuns show more flesh. I was a little kid at the time, so all I cared about was seeing the General Lee. But looking back on it, I'm sure tons of dudes (including my dad) we're pissed!

I just saw Kathleen on one of the morning talk shows and that's what made me think of her... she does a lot of Broadway nowadays apparently.

But man, back in the "Romancing the Stone" days she was FIIIIIIIINE! I remember watching that movie when I was about 13 or 14 and getting that funny feeling like when they made me climb the rope in gym class. She was probably already old enough to be my Mom at that point, but still, I was like "Wow, older women ROCK." Haha. And that husky voice...god daaaamn. No wonder they got her to do the voiceovers for Jessica Rabbit in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" ("I'm not bad... I'm just drawn that way.")

Sadly, now she looks like the crazy Grandma that nobody wants to invite to Thanksgiving dinner.

Another sci-fi babe... technically this is late 70s but who cares? Maren Jensen
(aka Athena of "Battlestar Galactica") could certainly fill out a Colonial uniform.
