PRD's Look What New Band I Found Thread

Ive been thinking what can I contribute to this page and BAM! it came to me. How about when I come across a new band I will share it with all of my buddys on the great LONG LIVE THE LOUD board. So this is my first installation into something that I will probably do once and then forget about but I will try not too lol! So here goes....

On their page it says they are like Glam/Rock/Thrash but I dont really know if thats a great description of them. Thats one thing I will always have a problem of defining what category a band will fit in or who they sound like. All I know is that I really enjoyed the songs they have on their page so check it out and let me know what you think!

One of my faves! I have all their stuff.

I thought this was a newer band. haha Still good stuff though. Im trying to get a cd from them to play on my station tomorrow

When did that trend start with band logos that are unreadable? If I can't figure out what the name of a group is when I see their logo it seriously limits the chance that I'm going to check them out.

But...I'll check these guys out.

Dont bother they are horrible lol. unreadable and unlistenable.

Ok time for another band! I came across this band this past Wednesday when me and my cousin were doing our radio show. They are friends of his and they are awesome. This is probably the first band that I heard from my area that has actually been good. They play progressive metal. They sound close to what Dream Theater sounded like on images and words.

Before I changed my site to the way it is now, I used to openly pan alot of the black metal bands with logos like that and who were more "evil" than everyone else, and I think I pissed off half of Norway in the process. Some of the emails were hilarious, especially the ones in broken english, where youre not really sure what they mean, but the fact that its angry and disjointed just cracks you up.

Looks like PRD hasnt discovered any new shit for quite some time

By the way, your boys Hardcore Superstar just signed with Nuclear Blast Records this past week (read it on Blabbermouth)... maybe that means they'll actually have some U.S. distribution in the future.

Yea I know I read that too. Of course now that I just bought all their albums except for one, they will get to re release all of them haha. Oh well I got pretty good deals on them anyway.
