Lucky you, where I worked at the time, some of the younger metal fans acted like they were Led Zeppelin.

When they hit big in the late 90s, I was living in an apartment with no cable TV, hence no MTV or VH1 and I never listened to the radio. Therefore I got most of my music info from underground metal 'zines. It was kinda nice, I was in a total True Metal Cocoon for a couple of years and missed out on the rise of Creed, Limp Bizkit, Marilyn Manson, yadda yadda yadda.
