Thanks for the hookup on this Spec. Watched the movie last night... it was a lot of fun, brought back some cool memories.

It warmed the cockles of my heart to see my old stomping grounds, L'amour in Brooklyn, NY, get such a prominent mention in the film.

By the way, y'all, if you get a chance, make sure you explore the rest of this "darkbattm14" guy's blog... he has got some AMAZING videos up there, tons of bootleg stuff... he's got a live Helstar video for cryin' out loud!!

Spec was kind enough to burn the "Get Thrashed" for me because I'm too computer stupid to make my own DVDs, but I may have to figure out how to do it myself now that I've seen some of the other offerings on this dude's site...

I have a bunch of his stuff already on DVD that I downloaded from his site. Pretty awesome stuff he has.

Thanks for posting that site when I get home I am looking forward to exploring the rest of the stuff on this site. Like Freddy I have no idea how to burn a DVD from the web, but I have to figure it out. They have live Alcatrazz with Yngwie.

Download the file you want to record onto DVD. Make a DVD with DVD Flick. It's really easy and free!

I've never tried it but apparently my disc-burning software suite (Nero) has the ability to make DVDs as well as CDs. Hmmm, I may have to buy some blank DVDs and do some experimenting soon.

...mmmm, never mind. I opened the file to check out the videos in my Windows Media Playerand they're crap quality. All pixellated looking, like a bad YouTube video. If I put them on a DVD and they're blown up to the size of my TV screen they'll look even worse. Fugeddaboudit.

Yeah those Crimson Glorys were just pulled from Youtube. Recommendations? Depends on what you are looking for. My favorites would be the Rainbow concerts I got off there. The Joe Lynn Turner stuff will never see the light of day on a proper DVD, and this cat has them.

Those Rainbow shows sound pretty sweet. They're decent quality? What other bands/stuff have you pinched from there? Just idly curious.

The Rainbows are decent quality. Everything is pretty much VHS quality.

So I guess I should just downloads me some random stuff and takes my chances eh? Works for me.

If it looks like shit in the preview pics, then assume it will be shit and move on.

The only problem I have is that every one of those videos is split up into dozens of individual parts, each with their own download link and most nights I ain't got that kinda time!!

Yeah, that's the price we have to pay.

Tried downloading Overkill's WRECKIN YOUR NECK DVD off this dude's site over the weekend... but the damn thing is split up into 10 or 12 parts and some of the links were expired. Dammit dammit dammit DAMMIT!
