Well, it really worked. So how long has this board been up? And why did you create it? Just curious.

I made it in January of this year but it sat unused until 2 weeks ago. I created it out of frustration with the HoM board. I wanted a board where everything is allowed and a board that we can eventually shape it into a board that mirrors its users.

Yeah, it's actually pretty cool having no filters here. I also like that there are only three forums. Most boards have a bunch of them. I happened to see the link in your sig on HOM and thought I'd check it out. It's been a lot of fun so far. The more boards the better lol. Check out my board sometime, it's in my sig.

Don't check out Bryan's board. He has only gay mods there.

I only have one mod there........ And he's a real piece of shit.

I will eventually pick mods for here, but so far I only have a few Admins.

I noticed that I don't have access to see who the mods or admins are. lol. That's what it tells me when I click on the legend.

I'm still trying to figure this thing out.

and I really like this place a lot. I am pretty much done with HoM now. This is a much nicer place to hang out for me...

I've always been more of a lurker at HOM and haven't posted there much lately... It seems like a lot of people are fed up with the place. What did I miss?

the place got too big and too disorganized for me. It was too hard to read. The reorganization was confusing and lengthy disagreement ensued.

For me it comes down to coming to a board to post and have a good time. All the other nonesense just wasnt for me anymore..

Yeah, I don't like all the subforums. I only post in 2 or 3 of them. One cool thing about a smaller board is that you get to know people a little easier.

well i still think the genres should have been separated out. you can divide stuff into really general categories like heavy metal, death/black metal, prog metal and hard rock. I know some people might get annoying about crossovers and the like but the main forum was too hard to read with all the stuff lumped into one. I personally lean more towards prog and could never really find any topics without really digging because of all the metallica are the greatest band in the world threads...

Yeah, if it's done right, genre forums can be cool. To me, fun and games and the sounds of music forums are useless.
