| I love it when this happens.I've been looking for a copy of Circus of Powers self titled cd for a while and kept finding it on Amazon or Ebay for $45 and higher.Well the other day I was checking on half.com and found it for $14.50.What a deal. The last time I bought one from there it was Sacred Warriors Obsessions original intense release for $12.Its definitely worth while to shop around.Anyone else have stories of their great finds for cheap? | |

| Yea I found a couple of things that were going for crazy amounts of money. Sometimes if you look on amazon.de or amazon.co.uk you'll find something cheaper just always ask though what the shipping is first.
I got Magnum- Sleepwalking for like $20 when it was going on ebay for like $60 or more. Symphorce- Sinctuary was selling for around $30 and I ended up getting it for like $12 or something Virgin Steele- Age Of Consent was hard to find for a while and went for way more than I would spend then one day it was on ebay and I got it for cheap and it was a special edition.
I scored some good deals today. Mostly stuff to trade off but still they were all 2.99 for Sky Lark, Squealer, Sentenced (2cd), Domine, Vanderhoof, Destiny's End. Im keeping a few of them.
Theres probably more I just cant think... | |

| This isn't a tale of a "good deal", but more of a "Don't you hate when that happens" story. I'm not sure why I'm posting it here, but here goes. Don't like it, go cry to a moderator, ya baby. After some convincing from other members on the HoM, I decide to purhase a copy of Thin Lizzy's Live & Dangerous. A quick search on ebay turns up a Buy It Now for $4 +3.99 shipping. $8 for a brand new cd is ok by me. The only negative is that it's from a music store in Australia, meaning it's gonna take what seems like an eternity to receive it. Ok, whatever, I've got other cd's arriving to keep me busy. Fast forward 2 weeks, finally my cd arrives from the land down under, smelling of vegemite and kangaroo semen. Actually that last part is made up. I have no idea what vegemite smells like. Anyhoo, that afternoon, since the boss is out, I decide to take advantage of the situation and hit a cd shop in town on my extended lunchbreak. As I'm scanning through the endless rows of Jessica Simpson, Fall Out Boy and other utter crap, what do I find under the "T" section? Thin Lizzy's Live & Dangerous for $3.99, used, but practically brand new. The very day my cd arrives from halfway around the world and I find a copy 3 miles from me even cheaper. Ain't that a bitch? | |

| Heres another story for you to share with your grandchildren.Back in the summer I was working on upgrading my Vengeance Rising catalog to cd.I already had the first two but needed the "Roger Rising" two.So I buy Destruction comes on Ebay for around $7.A month goes by and no cd.So I emailed the seller.Nothing.I emailed him again finally a couple months later he emails me saying He's Sorry and that he had a lot going on but He would get the cd out plus refund me.I told him to just send the cd that a refund wasnt necessary. Finally I get the cd in the mail and He not only sent me Destruction comes but also included Released Upon the Earth.Isnt Life Great sometimes? | |
