Death Cult's Drive In

Feast II is awesome so far. A major cheese-fest and some splatter gags I've never seen before.

Never seen it, sounds good though.

Tonight:

THE BROOD, EVIL DEAD, among others

Last night I watched Halloween H2O.Tonight I plan on watching either Resident Evil-Extinction or Trick or Treat.

I've owned Halloween H2O for years and for some reason have never watched it.

No horror today but:

Black Sabbath- Born Again Tour live in Montreal

Finished Feast II and WHOA!

First movie I've ever seen where you see a baby get eaten alive by a monster. Totally plotless but really gory.

Ugh, really? Guess I'll be skippin' that one. In my teenage gorehound days that wouldn't have bothered me but maybe since I'm a parent now, scenes like that just cross the line for me. I just watched "Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem" a couple of weeks ago and the scenes in the maternity ward of the hospital in that flick haunted me for a couple of days. It was just SOOOOOOO wrong!!!

The avatar don't bother me none. I'm no prude when it comes to horror movies. You can kill off all the stock "stupid teenager" characters you want, but leave dem po' helpless babies ALONE!!

I liked him in Night Of The Creeps.

Oh, and the baby that gets eaten is actually the director's son. BTW, Feast II also has a Mexican midget tag team, a female biker gang and a chick stuck in the 80s.

One of the absolute worst films of the 1980's...and there's some stiff competition from that decade.

Hahaha, that was Gene Simmons' cinematic debut if memory serves. He was the best thing in it, which ain't saying much. That was directed by the late Michael Crichton I believe?

Ya gotta feel kinda sorry for Tom Selleck. He could've been Indiana Jones if he hadn't been stuck in his "Magnum PI" contract, once that ship sailed his big screen career ended up in flicks like "Runaway" and "High Road To China"

Yesterday I watched "Bad Boys II" -- which is the most ridiculously over the top, totally preposterous, completely unbelievable action movie ever made...but OH, it's such fun to watch!!

Today was "Madagascar" with my son for about the fifty zillionth time -- he wants me to take him to see the sequel which just opened, so I guess he wanted to refresh himself on the original.

Kirstie Alley was the best part of it.

Crichton wrote the story I believe, which isnt terribly good.

I just finished something called Murder-Set-Pieces.

This was supposed to be the goriest thing ever filmed.

Meh. It was ok and a couple disturbing images involving children but I've seen far gorier; most of the kills happened off camera (except for one "chainsaw to the head" kill).

This didn't live up to the hype.

The Strangers - it was just very O.K.....kind of blah. Liv Tyler = top 5 unattractive not-fat leading actresses. Her face was once interesting/striking, but now her whole package is just awful.
