Spec's 80s dream girl was Debbie Gibson, mine was Samantha Fox. My jaw dropped when I first saw this video on MTV back in the day... I was like "WHOA! Where has this woman BEEN my whole life?" Yea, her music was godawful but she looked and dressed like a teenage metal dork's wet dream, with denim or leather jackets, ripped jeans, the occasional spiked wristband, cowboy boots (or high-heel "f*ck me" boots, either one was fine with me...hahaha)... if memory serves, she even dated Lemmy for a while, thus cementing her Metal cred, haha. My bedroom was plastered with her posters all through high school. I became even MORE obsessed when I found out she'd been a topless model for various British newspapers before getting into the music scene. (I think I still have a few post cards of her topless pix that I bought when I visited Germany in 1987 stashed around here somewhere...)
Sadly, the last time I saw Sammy (on one of those VH1 "I Love the 80s" shows) it appears that time has not been especially kind to her. (but then I'm no spring chicken either, haha). I hear she's admitted that she's a lesbian recently too. "Not that there's anything wrong with that," as the Seinfeld gag says... hell, if I'd known that in the 80s it probably would've made her even HOTTER in my mind... hahaha.
Yea, I know, this thread is random. Deal with it. They just played the "Touch Me" video on VH1 Classic this morning and I had to share.

I was a big fan of Samanta back in the day for all the reasons Freddy already stated. And she had big ol' boobs. She was a tiny little fidget, but had a huge natural rack. I remember my cousin had a poster of her in a torn t-shirt with just enough material to cover the nips.
I don't remember that song, but I do remember "Naughty Girls Need Love Too".
